Frequently Asked Questions

  • What time are your services?

We are one church in multiple locations! See below to see the service times for each campus

    Ottawa | 9 & 10:45 AM

    Garnett | 10 AM

  • Do you have services for kids and youth?

Yes! We have options for kids, youth, and families with infants.

Hope Anthem Kids runs during our Sunday service. Children are dropped off at the beginning of service and picked up at the end, where they experience age-appropriate lessons, worship, games, and plenty of fun in a safe and engaging environment.

Hope Anthem Youth meets every Sunday evening from 5–7 PM and is a great community for middle and high school students. Students learn practical ways to study the Bible and live it out while building friendships and having fun together.

For families with infants, we also offer a Mommy Lounge where caregivers can care for their child while watching the service live - so you don’t have to miss a thing.

  • Where do I park?

We have an L-shaped parking lot located around the back and east side of the building, though it can fill up quickly on Sundays. When that happens, Garfield Elementary across the street generously allows us to use some of their side parking, and street parking is also available nearby.

Our parking attendants are happy to help you find a spot if needed. During colder weather, we’ll sometimes have a golf cart available to help shuttle guests from farther parking areas when possible.

  • How long do services typically last?

Our Sunday service lasts about 75 minutes, including worship and the message.

  • What should I wear?

You’ll see a wide range of styles at Hope Anthem. We encourage you to come dressed comfortably - whether that’s casual or a little more dressed up.

  • Is your church accessible?

We want everyone to feel welcome and supported at Hope Anthem. Both of our locations offer ramp access, handicap parking, and wheelchair-friendly seating in the sanctuary. Our team is always happy to help make adjustments if needed.

At our Ottawa campus, a few areas (including the Starting Point room and one Hope Anthem Kids classroom) require stairs. If stairs are a concern, let us know ahead of time and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Ottawa also offers a dedicated space for children with special needs during the first service. For those who prefer to watch online, our livestream includes captions.

If you have specific accessibility needs or questions, we’d love to connect and help however we can.

  • What denomination is the church affiliated with?

Hope Anthem is affiliated with the Assemblies of God, a global fellowship of Christian churches. Our focus is on Jesus, the Bible, and helping people grow in their faith in a welcoming, down-to-earth environment. Our church values and beliefs are all listed clearly on our About Us page.

  • Can I watch online?

Yes! You can watch our services live and on demand through our YouTube channel, and you can also view previous messages on our Watch page anytime.

While we love connecting online, we believe life is better in community. If you’re able, we’d love for you to join us in person - because faith is meant to be lived out together.

  • What if I arrive late?

Life happens. If you arrive late, you’re still welcome to join us - no explanations needed. Our team will help you find a seat, and you won’t be singled out. We’re just glad you’re here.
